Employee Spotlight: Judy Wagoner

Judy has been with our company working at our Greenbrier store in Charlottesville for a while now, and has become a helpful coordinator and familiar face if you walk into the showroom. Each time you see her and speak with her she has a happy, upbeat attitude and is excited to help you in any way she can. Get to know more about Judy below!

What do you like most about your job at BRBS? “My coworkers and helping customers.”

Describe your journey at BRBS. “Amazing! I started from scratch and have great coworkers training and working beside me daily.”

Describe “a day in the life” of your job. What do you do in a typical day? “I help coworkers when they walk in the showroom [at our Greenbrier store] or when they call us.”

What are a few of your favorite hobbies outside of work? “crafts and antiques.”

What is your favorite movie, TV show, or book? Favorite musician or music genre? “Movie: Italian Job; TV Show: Sons of Anarchy; Book: Anything by Debbie MacCumber; Musician and Genre: Chris Isaak and rock.”

Where is your favorite place to visit or vacation to take? “Boston–just went and would love to go back.”

Describe your family. “I’m married, have 3 boys, 5 grandsons and 5 granddaughters, 1 great granddaughter and another baby on the way.”

What is your biggest goal for the next 5 to 10 years at BRBS? “To gain more knowledge and retire later from here.”

Name 3 words you would use to describe what BRBS means to you. “Family, Friends, Teamwork.

What is at the very top of your bucket list? “To go to Maine.”

What is a random fact most people don’t know about you? “That I am not a morning person.”

What is one thing you’ve learned about yourself since working at BRBS? “You ask for help and there are people to help you find the answer.”

If you could go back to when you first started your job, what is one piece of advice you would give your past self? “Nothing! I would not change anything.”

What is your motto in life? “Live each day like it’s your last.”
